Book Clubs, Teachers, Librarians:
Visiting with a book club or giving a reading or a talk at a library event or a class is one of the great 'perks' for authors. Because my books emphasize both history and current affairs, chatting about them - how the research was carried out, where the ideas came from, are topics that readers have found interesting.
